How Can We Help You?

Your Turn has been working with health professionals across the UK since its launch from a basic level of providing advice and patient information leaflets, to running full campaigns.

As you are undoubtedly aware, pressure ulcer prevention has risen on the government agenda to a point where the cabinet are now asking for transparency on point prevalence.

Now is the time to put in place measures to prevent pressure ulcers.  Each category 4 pressure ulcer can cost your organisation up to £40,000 to treat.  Add to this the fact that pressure ulcers can be treated a serious untoward incidents and cases of neglect and the need to prevent pressure ulcers rather than simply treat them should be a high priority.

Prevention Campaign

Prevention can be addressed by running an education and awareness campaign with staff and the general public. Your Turn, a not for profit organisation, working with health professions to provide education to staff and the general public for the last 5 years, can help you to deliver a campaign about pressure ulcers and how to prevent them.

We are able to offer a solution in the form of React to Red Skin.  This is a locally focused campaign to raise awareness with care professionals and the wider community to help you deliver your CQUIN targets for pressure ulcer prevention. The campaign includes training for all frontline care staff, a suite of materials to make referrals and education easier and the development of specific web pages for your campaign.

Your Turn has been working with all aspects of healthcare for the past four years and has developed a great deal of knowledge about the methods of engagement that work in the wider health community. React to Red Skin has a proven track record in the community with a 48% reduction in community acquired pressure ulcers in Ealing and a 20% reduction in grade 2 pressure ulcers in just 6 months in Coventry and Rugby.

As an organisation we are ideally placed to help you, whether you are a CCG, a hospital Trust, a nursing home, residential home, community tissue viability service or a care agency, to increase awareness and prevent pressure ulcers.

Your Turn is not a profit making campaign, and therefore the costs involved are transparent and at as low a level as possible.  We want to work with healthcare professionals and care professionals to deliver campaigns that increase awareness and reduce incidents of pressure ulcers.
