The aim of the 10 for 2010 Patient Safety Pressure Ulcer project is to support the NHS in eliminating avoidable pressure ulcers. A fundamental aspect of the project is to increase the level of reporting of all pressure ulcer incidents to the National Reporting and Learning System.The 10 for 2010 Patient Safety Pressure Ulcer team actively encourages NHS organisations to sign up to the ‘Your Turn’ campaign, to utilise the resources available to reduce the harm currently being caused by pressure ulcers.
